OCL strongly believes in sustainability. This belief is deeply rooted in the history of how the company began—reclaiming and restoring historical light fixtures.
We continue this tradition by building quality fixtures that will endure, and use and promote energy-efficient lamps to help preserve our environment. Our operations, including our manufacturing facility, run on 100 percent wind-generated electricity. This prevents 117,000 pounds of carbon dioxide, a leading greenhouse gas, from entering the atmosphere each year—equal to the CO2 reduction provided by 45 acres of forest storing carbon for one year. We use non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass and copper, and all scrap metals in our factory, along with acrylic, cardboard, paper, plastic and aluminum cans, are recycled.
